Herbicide Applications

Herbicides will be applied when needed to control designated noxious weeds on City owned property.  Times, locations, and product used will be listed here on the day before the applications. All applications are on a weather permitting basis.

Application Schedule

The City of Cheyenne Weed and Pest is planning to apply herbicide to control Canada thistle and field bindweed in the open space and right-of-ways along the Saddle Ridge greenway and Pershing Blvd. The treatment is scheduled for the morning of November 12, 2025. Please avoid areas being actively treated indicated by blue dye and signage. Once dried, these areas will be safe to reenter. A blue residue will be left behind.
