Community Involvement

It is extremely important for any entity to be active and involved in the community they serve. We are focused on protecting public health, and it starts with building relationships with our neighbors and partners.

We participate in Rooted In Cheyenne plantings, SuperDay, Cheyenne Frontier Days, and various citywide events (parades, safety barriers).

We are interested in more public education opportunities to encourage young scientists, so please reach out for a tour or classroom visit.

We continue to keep ourselves up-to-date on the latest research and attend state/regional conferences and trainings.

We also occasionally perform ground squirrel and prairie dog management, and are monitoring for ticks.
